DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES IN ADDITION TO THOSE IN JOB DESCRIPTION:
Graphic ODM customer support leader is responsible for driving the whole process of end to end customer support and internal validation. This individual will interface with the Marketing, Silicon design, Software, Hardware design, Validation and external customer to ensure the product quality. Detail roles as below:
1. Drive to review customer’s design, test plan &report and provide suggestions.
2. Drive validation execution for customer projects.
3. Develop validation strategies, pioneer hardware/software validation improvements on both internal and external projects.
4. Report system level / silicon failure and sightings, drive them to closure with collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams, communicate with various internal departments and customers to resolve anomalies.
5. Participate in issuing internal/external releasable test reports.
6. Co-ordinate both AMD and OEM/ODM customer for a best co-working model.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1. B. Sc. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience (at least 6 years)
2. Knowledge of computer hardware architecture (CPU/APU, graphic cards, memory, bus logic, and display technologies) and software architecture (driver/bios)
3. Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes and logic analyzers)
4. Solid understanding of circuits/power/thermal design, software (driver/bios) architecture.
5. Hands-on debug experience with dGPU/APU, motherboards, memory interface, bus logic.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7. Good Program management skillset and leadership capability.
8. Self-motivated and able to work independently, aggressively and effectively to meet time requirements.
9. Experience with Windows and Linux operating system.
10. Experience with customer support and familiar with OEM/ODM working model an asset.
11. Knowledge in hardware design, display and PCI Express technology an asset
