The candidate, directly reporting to the Director of Simplay in USA, will be working with local team members in support of HDMI, DP (DisplayPort), and Authorized Test Center (ATC). The duties include:

• Be familiar with HDMI, HDCP, DP, and USB standards tested in our lab currently and plan for other standards such as PCIE and MIPI.
• Testing various consumer electronic devices, such as HDTVs, Mobile Phones(MHL) DVD players, Set Top Boxes, Audio Video Receivers for compliance to the HDMI, HDCP, DP and other Simplay HD standards. It will involve the use of various lab equipment and following test procedures along with learning new specifications release with in the varies standards.
• Maintaining Lab test equipment and resolve problems to keeping projects running.
• Keep in touch with customers, provide support/consulting in isolating product implementation issues during testing failures and help our customers succeed.
• Take the initiative to study new knowledge, practice new technologies and keep abreast of new developments within the industry.

• Work with headquarters (Santa Clara), peer ATC’s and colleagues to synchronize testing methods and standards within the team.

• Review key projects with lab operations manager and team members; work with HQ Sr. Lab manager as required for updates on specification and global testing concerns.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in CS/EE or equivalent, with 5 years’ solid experience in high speed digital video interfaces’ system level testing and troubleshooting.
• The abilities to operate high-speed oscilloscope, VNA, TDR etc. are needed.
• Ability to follow a test procedure in detail, gain the knowledge to review other members testing results for accuracy and work independently as required.
• Good written and oral English.
